OUTCRY: MISSING AND MURDERED INDIGENOUS WOMEN

Saturday, October 28 @ 12:30pm (doors open at noon)

Cost: $25 - All net proceeds go to the Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women

Speaker: Jonathan Sims

Jonathan's ongoing reporting of MMIWR issues for the Albuquerque Independent newspaper, The Paper, has received national attention having won a 2023 National Press Women Award for First Place (National) for In-Depth Reporting on the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Relatives crisis in New Mexico.  This reporting was also made possible through a grant awarded by the International Women's Media Foundation.

A catered Native lunch will be provided by Adeline Toribio of the Zia Pueblo.
